These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Command Bean platform, including commandbean.com, commandbean.app, and all associated products (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Command Bean, Inc. ("Command Bean," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are using the Service on behalf of a business, you represent that you have the authority to bind that business to these Terms.
You sign in using your Google account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at support@commandbean.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized use of your account.

You retain ownership of all data you create or import into Command Bean — your tasks, notes, events, and business information. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
We do not claim ownership of your data and will not sell it to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle your data.
Command Bean integrates with Google Calendar, Tasks, Gmail, and Drive through Google's official APIs. Your use of these integrations is also subject to Google's Terms of Service. You may revoke Command Bean's access to your Google account at any time via your Google Account settings.
Command Bean is currently in early access. The Service is provided "as is" and may contain bugs, incomplete features, or experience downtime. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time during this period. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.
Certain features may require a paid subscription. Pricing, billing terms, and cancellation policies will be clearly disclosed before any charge is made. All fees are non-refundable except where required by law or explicitly stated in our refund policy.
The CommandBean name, logo, product design, and underlying software are the property of Command Bean, Inc. and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not use our branding or copy our software without written permission.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, COMMANDBEAN SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Command Bean, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@commandbean.com. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases and we will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Program name: Command Bean Shift Reminders, operated by Command Bean, Inc.
What it is: text messages to the staff of a business that uses Command Bean, about their own scheduled shifts. For example, a link to the closing checklist on a night you close, or the opening checklist on a morning you open, a reminder if it isn't filed yet, and a note if the shift moves to someone else. We never send marketing or promotional messages through this program.
How you opt in: text JOIN followed by your workplace's name (for example, JOIN OCEAN) to the Command Bean Shift Reminders number shown at your workplace and on our Command Bean Shift Reminders page. We reply to confirm. Opting in is never a condition of employment or of buying anything.
Message frequency: varies with your schedule, usually 1 to 4 messages per scheduled opening or closing shift.
Cost: Message and data rates may apply.
Opting out: reply STOP to any message to stop receiving them. We send one message confirming that you are unsubscribed, then nothing more. To rejoin, text JOIN and your workplace's name again.
Help: reply HELP to any message, or email support@commandbean.com.
Delivery: carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported on major US carriers.
Privacy: how we handle your number and consent is described in section 8 of our Privacy Policy. We never share your mobile number or opt-in for marketing.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida.
