CommandBean ("we," "our," or "us") operates this platform. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using commandbean.app or any CommandBean product, you agree to the practices described here.
Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. We store this in our database (Supabase) to identify your account.
Data you create. Tasks, notes, calendar events, lists, and business information you enter in the app are stored in our database and associated with your account.
Google Workspace data. With your explicit permission, we access the following Google services:
Other connected email & calendar. If you connect a non-Google mailbox (Microsoft/Outlook or an IMAP account), we access its messages, folders, and contacts using credentials you provide, so you can read and send mail from within the app. We do not store your email content on our servers beyond what is needed to display it to you.
Social media accounts. If you connect a Facebook Page, Instagram Business account, or TikTok account, we access your own posts, their engagement metrics, and the comments on them — so we can show your performance in the app and let you publish posts and reply to comments. We act only on accounts you connect, and only when you ask us to.
Usage data. We may collect basic usage information (pages visited, features used) to improve the product. We do not sell this data.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your Google Workspace, email, or social data to serve you advertising. We never publish, send, or reply on a connected account without your action or approval.
CommandBean's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:
Likewise, our use of data from Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram) complies with the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies, and our use of TikTok data complies with the TikTok Developer Terms of Service. We access your connected social accounts only to provide the in-app features you use — displaying your own posts and their metrics, publishing content you create, and reading or replying to comments at your direction. We do not sell this data or use it for advertising.
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a hosted database platform with row-level security. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest, and access tokens for connected accounts are stored encrypted. We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no system is completely secure.
We retain your data as long as your account is active. You can disconnect any connected service at any time (which removes the stored access tokens and stops our access), delete individual items in the app, or request full deletion of your account and data. See our Data Deletion page for how, or contact us at privacy@commandbean.com. We will delete your data within 30 days of your request.
